Sarah & Charlie, 19/08 – Coltsford Mill, Oxted, Surrey Wedding Photography
An early start and a late finish but it was all worth it at Coltsford Mill. Fireworks were a complete surprise to all the guests and I had to try hard when people asked ‘what time are you here until’ after the first dance had come and gone not to say, “until the fireworks!”. Luckily I managed to pull it off.
Capturing fireworks at a wedding was a first for me let alone at Coltsford Mill wondering which side of the trees they were going to pop out from, but I was really pleased how the results turned out, and hope that Sarah & Charlie think the same.
The weather was kind in the end, we had a little blue sky and it rained a little but thankfully just a little and we managed to be outside 95% of the day!

Fantastic room at the Nutfield Priory Hotel

No photos allowed during the service, although I managed to pinch a couple from the back!

You can see for yourself, but great likeness!

The first dance was quite superb!

This little flower girl was very excited to use the video camera! What was frightening was when he let her walk round with it handheld!

One of my favourites from the day, the lighting from my remote flashes worked really well.

Grandad was non-stop on the dancefloor!

Have you ever tried taking a photo in your left hand, one camera taking the throwing of the bouquet and this one was somehow in my left hand!

The fireworks were very impressive, not just a catherine wheel stuck on the garden fence

And back in for one more dance before I headed home...
