Jacqueline & Rhys, 16/03 – Farbridge Wedding Venue, nr Chichester Photography
I had to dust off my camera (well not really as the winter has been fairly active with commercial work and even a few corporate videos) as it was either of us first wedding for almost 4 months. The longest time we have had away from a wedding since we started in 2003. I have to say it was refreshing to recharge the batteries and sometimes to take a step back from being in it each week to see how much we still enjoy capturing one of the most memorable days of anyone’s life.
It was great to get back into it with such a photogenic bride and groom as Jac and Rhys, that does help a lot. The weather was a bit grey which was a shame as the day before was fantastic blue sky and sunshine but when it is your wedding day after a short while the weather becomes pretty much irrelevant, well perhaps not when Jac was starting to get a little cold outside but you know what I mean people get into the swing of things and the emotion and excitement takes over.
Farbridge wedding venue we have covered probably 6 or 7 weddings here now and I really enjoy the venue. It could do with a few more lights pointing onto the B & G in the ceremony room but our camera’s cope just with how it is. The courtyard is always manicured to perfection and the barn inside is simply stunning. With the rooms onsite there are few better barn venues around Sussex than Farbridge.
I was also very envious that following the Farbridge wedding, Rhys and Jac were off to Sri Lanka, a pure coincidence that England are playing cricket at the same time. They are going to a day at the test! Very jealous…:)

Up a very high step ladder, that was a bit wobbly!

Some daffs....

Can you believe father of the bride won the sweepstake!
