Tatiana & Matthew, 29/08 – Hartsfield Manor, Surrey Wedding Photography
We always seem to talk about the weather on these blogs, the main reason is because the weather has a massive impact on the resulting wedding photos. All types of weather produce different types of photos, sunshine and blue skies, produces more contrast but shadows and can cause people to squint, overcast condition produces a nice flat light for photography and rain offers the chance for a venue to be looked at different especially in the summer. More indoor shots, some unbrella shots as long as the rain isn’t horizontal. What do we prefer, not sure perhaps the surprise and variety adds to the challenge and keeps photos at the same venue from looking the same.
Anyway back to this fabulous wedding in hand. Tatiana and Matthew at Hartsfield Manor. The venue and event was run superbly by both the staff at Hartsfield and Toni Davey and her team from ISIS Events. They even booked the weather perfectly.
I was chatting to Tatiana at 3pm and she said the weather was due to rain at 4pm the ‘BBC website said so’, I said they are never right and outside at the time was sunshine and blue skies. Anyway at 3.40pm the rain came down, it was grey and looked set in for the afternoon. Damn! Well somehow as the ceremony finished around 4.20pm the sun came out, not a cloud in the now very blue sky, perfect!

Not throwing confetti but BAGS!
